Welbeck Medical are committed to making our website accessible to as many users as possible.
Whilst we endeavour to make as much content as possible accessible, certain areas may not be as compliant. We are working hard to improve these areas.
Scaleable text size
Throughout the site we've used font sizes that are user controllable. This means you can adjust the size of the text with your web browser's controls.
Alternative text for images
All appropriate images are given alternative text descriptions.
Frames
Due to the inherent accessibility issues with Frames, their use is discouraged wherever possible.
Structured headings
Headings tags are used to ensure all pages convey a valid document structure. Headings level 1 to 6 are used throughout the site.
HTML Lists
We frequently use lists to provide structure to content such as navigation options and links lists.
Adobe PDF documents
Some documents on our site are provided in Adobe PDF format and require the Adobe Acrobat Reader to be viewed. Whilst Welbeck Medical endeavours to make its PDF content accessible, Adobe.com provide some online tools to make older PDF documents more accessible. These tools can be found here.
